Accreditations and Credentials
Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance is certified by The
Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems. This is an independent, non-profit agency which audits and accredits aircraft and helicopter air medical transport services in the U.S. to industry-established criteria. We are inspected and re-certified every three years to 133 medical guidelines. Medical air transport patients should insure that the transport is performed by a CAMTS accredited company, if at all possible.
Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance is certified by The National Accreditation Alliance Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA). NAAMTA is the new accreditation standard bearer for the medical transport industry, offering procedures that include guidelines for developing a quality management system focusing on transport safety, patient care, and continuous improvement. Since its inception in 2009, they have made great strides in identifying key best practices to improve the standard of performance among EMS providers at a national and global level. Through an ethical approach to organization auditing and a vast array of web-based reporting and learning tools for members, NAAMTA distinguishes itself as an accreditation source interested in the improvement of EMS organizations.
Aircraft Maintenance: Our aircraft maintenance team is lead by an FAA approved Director. Each mechanic is federally certified as an Airframe and Power Plant Maintenance Technician. Internal knowledge of the aircraft fleet is backed up by Lear Jet, Inc. aircraft systems specialists.
